 Dining at the Neri Restaurant
The Neri Restaurant, which overlooks Plaza Sant Felip Neri, has a unique and varied menu. Invoking the classic flavors and spices of medieval regional cookery, it offers elaborate dishes that incorporate the traditional ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine. Guests will thus find everything from dukkah, a blend of Egyptian spices, to tahini, typical of the countries on the southern rim of the Mediterranean basin. Nevertheless, and perhaps paradoxically, the restaurant eschews the usual "exotic fare". The true staples of its recipes are the same olive oil, cumin, cinnamon, vanilla, saffron and cardamom so easy to find in most local delights.
In the dining room, which can seat up to 35, two 12th-century arches can still be seen from the original structure on which the establishment was built. They lend the room a special charm and set it off from the lounge. The restaurant also offers a private room for business meetings and celebrations.
To complement its Mediterranean cuisine de auteur, the restaurant offers a top-notch wine cellar stocked with premium international wines, ranging from selections prized the world over to lesser known gems from Chile, Australia and California. One of the more original choices is the Jewish kosher wine, blessed by a rabbi, made in El Priorat (Tarragona). The wine list is rounded out with tasteful picks from the El Penedés, Albariño, Rioja, Rueda, Ribera del Duero, El Priorat, Bordeaux and Burgundy regions. |
 Breakfast is key at any hotel worth its salt, and here the presentation is unique. Guests are brought an individual tray laden with assorted breads, cold cuts and cheeses, smoked salmon, fruit, cakes, cereal, cookies, yogurt, jams, honey, butter and fresh-squeezed orange juice, as well as a short menu of hot meals prepared fresh for those craving something more. For guests who prefer to take their breakfast in the privacy of their rooms, Neri H&R offers three options: a revised version of our classic breakfast; the "Sensual" version, so-named for its array of aphrodisiacal delights; and the "Neri" breakfast, for those wishing to start the day on the exquisite note of foie gras and champagne. The hotel also offers around-the-clock room service, including a wide array of "delicatesse", whimsical dishes, easy to eat and ideal for a private gourmet snack.
In summer, Neri H&R also offers two additional dining areas. A cluster of tables is set out throughout the day in Plaza de Sant Felip Neri, where guests can enjoy an aperitif, coffee or light supper. And at nightfall, the rooftop terrace and solarium are transformed into one of the Gothic Quarter's most charming and exclusive spots. |

The building's roof plays a key role, namely, that of enticing guests to relax on the rooftop terrace and solarium. This space was designed adhering to Feng Shui principles to create an atmosphere with the perfect balance of all five elements: water, earth, metal, fire and wood. Comfortable lounge chairs, refreshing modern shower facilities and plants such as jasmine and orange blossoms help make this area the very epitome of repose for Neri H&R guests.
The library-lounge, with its original coffered ceilings, offers guests another beguiling space. The goal was to create an atmosphere both pleasant and enticing. Leading magazines from the worlds of design, culture, aesthetics, art, interior decoration and travel are all available, as are numerous books that explore the prominent roles played by Barcelona and Catalonia throughout history. In addition to more traditional travel guides, guests can also explore the city through the words of acclaimed authors who have made Barcelona central to some of their greatest works, such as novelists Eduardo Mendoza, Juan Marsé, Carlos Ruiz Zafón or Luis Carandell. |

 The ideal location of the hotel makes of it the perfect place to stay whether you are visiting Barcelona for business or leisure. Located in the Barri gotic, only few metres from the cathedral and within short walking distance from Las Ramblas, Pl.
