STAFF VERY HELPFUL DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE ARRIVED QUITE LATE IN THE EVENING (BY ENGLISH STANDARDS!!) aLWAYS SOMEONE AVAILABLE AT NIGHT ... ALTHOUGH OUR ROOM WAS IDEAL OUR FRIENDS AT THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL WERE KEPT AWAKE BY CONTINUAL NOISE (BINS EMPTYING SKATEBOARDERS ROAD CLEANING ETC)BUT ALL ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE - EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. BUFFET BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT AND SERVICE WAS EFFICIENT - SHAME THE BAR WAS NEVER OPEN FOR COFFEE OR NIGHTCAPS (THERE WAS A MACHINE SERVING FROM PAPER CUPS) ... VERY HELPFUL ABOUT OUR MIDDAY CHECKOUT ... ABOUT 10MINS AMBLE TO LAS RAMBLAS - FINE DURING THE DAY BUT I WOULD NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE ALONE AT NIGHT ... CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND PERFECTLY ADEQUATE FOR OUR NEEDS WHICH WAS A FIRST TIME VISIT TO BARCELONA TO SEE ALL THE USUAL TOURIST SIGHTS

Registration was simple and our request was available as stated ... The location and it's proximity to the university resulted in intolerable noise until very late at night. The site is not in the best area - graphiti and litter, and a constant roar from the Vespas reduced the value of the visit ... No problems were encountered. ... A brief history of the site chould be included ... quaint, very old european.The restaurant area and terrace are of uniques value to visitors.

On arrival we where shown to a double bedded room as booked, which was very poor (i.e. no window poor decor/condition etc.) We where then offered a twin bedded room which did smell, but we accepted it as the only option available ... The property overall was good only the rooms we where offered where poor ... Good if you get a nice room
