Jose Maria of the Marina View B&B made all aspects of our stay in Barcelona great. He assisted us in finding restaurants, navigating the metro and arranging travel to the airport.

Since the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The hostess was very warm and professional.

I have no words to express how happy I was with my stay at Marina View B&B. The place is absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. Furthermore, the Columbus room is very spacious and the view to the Marina...marvelous. However, the highlight of my stay was no such much the wonderful room and location (walking distance from Las Ramblas and Gothic Quarter), but for the amazing attention that the staff offered. The hostess was incredibly helpful, always happy to help and eager to offer great advise. I could not have asked for more, and as a result of my pleasant stay, I rate this accommodation as a 5 star!

Again, since we arrived our stay at Marina View was a positive experience, and the departure was no exception. The hostess was nice enough to help us with the luggage and to get a taxi. She was wonderful!

The property was easy to find from the cruise ship dock.

We were escorted to a waiting taxi at four o'clock in the morning. Quite exceptional service I must say!

The property was much closer to Las Ramblas than we expected. Although on a main Boulevard, it was quite quiet at night.

It was the epitome of Spanish hospitality. An innkeeper who went way beyond what was expected. I would recommend it highly to anyone!

our stay was tremendous. the facilities were so wonderful and we felt like we were staying with family. the best part of all was jose, the manager. we got a bit teary leaving...he was the absolute best...he took terrific care of us and was so happy to help !!! can't say enough good things about him or marina view !!!

Our host met us as soon as we arrived and took our cases to the lift. He gave us a map and advised us on places to visit, restaurants and tapas bars.

My partner and I were a little apprehensive when we arrived at the Marina View as its outward appearance was less than desirable.
However when we got inside the residence we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and bright the accomodation was, and how helpful our host was.
Our stay in Marina View was splendid and we would reccommend the business to anyone

It was confusing when we arrived as the B&B was in an apartment block and there was no sign for the B&B on the outside.

Jose Maria was a fabulous host. He was extremely nice, allowed us to use a computer and gave us good restaurant recommendations. Plus he is a very nice man and we appreciated his attention. And the location on the port near La Rambla cannot be beat.

Our only caveat was that we booked two rooms of vastly different quality but nearly the same price. Both rooms were super clean and comfortable. But one had a great view and was large with a sofa. The other one was smaller and with no view at all. We would have preferred two rooms of equal quality or a bigger difference in the price. But with that said, we had a lovely stay and would return.

It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit with breakfast and less bread products. My stay was 5 days and a little variety would have been nice.
