The building, built in 1876 by Pedro Bassegoda i Mateu, was inaugurated in 1998 as hotel. Its façade has been kept intact and boasts an austere Neoclassical style with grafted romantic and barroque decorations.
On-site amenities include an Internet Corner, free wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, bar, laundry service and 24-hour front desk with all sorts of tourist information. On July 15, a brand new outdoor swimming pool and waterfall will be available, as well as an outdoor solarium with a wooden floor and garden area with palm trees.
A breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room between 7 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.
